What live translation is — and isn’t.
It is machine translation of live speech, a beat behind the speaker. A good headset microphone in a quiet room makes the biggest difference to quality. It is not certified interpretation, and an end-to-end encrypted meeting has no server-readable audio, so translation is not available inside it.

Do my learners need to set anything up to hear Tamil?
No. They join from the link in a browser, open the Captions menu and pick Tamil — captions, with spoken audio as an extra toggle. You keep teaching in your language.
Can some learners pick Tamil while others pick a different language?
Yes. Each learner chooses independently; one live session runs up to 5 different languages at the same time.
Is the Tamil voice natural?
A natural voice with an Indian accent reads the translation, and technical terms and numbers are spoken in English the way an Indian classroom hears them.
Is this certified interpretation?
No. It is machine translation of live speech — excellent for following a lesson, not a substitute for a certified interpreter where the stakes are legal or medical.
